Shakespeare 24 hour festival

Posted by Sam on April 23, 2008 4:13 PM |

Is well and truly under way. I went along to the Playhouse today to see the dress...

of Macbeth. I was very impressed with the winners of the Shakespeare Youth Festival who will be performing. The five of them, cut, directed, acted and made their own costumes. While it was chopped down to 45minutes it was still passionate and told the story of Macbeth.

Best of luck to them and the National Youth Theatre who also perform tonight (Measure for Measure). A specail good luck to Jenny Kelly aka Lady Macbeth, who has sore thoat and can barely speak!!

Here is a little peak at their performance
