Friday was the first time we were able to have a sneak-peak inside the Echo Arena and what a fantastic venue it will be! Def one to rival Manchester
The event on Friday was to give those who are volunteering to be ambassadors for Liverpool this year to take a look in the arena.
They were treated to performances by Sweet xx, Foresaken and Major Major - three up and coming Liverpool groups.
Pete Price was presenting and was on top form. I was literally blown away when he sang 'You will never walk alone' it was brilliant. Ok he missed the first high 'never' but it was ace.
Warren Bradley, Bob Prattey, Phil Redmond all gave speeches and were then followed by The Farm.
There were a few sound probs as expected but on the whole it was good.
Really looking forward to Saturday and Liverpool The Musical with Ringo. It should be spectacular. For those of you not able to go you will be able to watch a video I will do first thing on Sunday morning. It will be a short montage of all of the acts.
If any of you are volunteers and were there on Friday comment below and let me know what u thought of it!

It looks pretty impressive but I cant understand why they have made the capacity only half of what the MEN ArenA can hold surely this was a chance for Liverpool to overtake Manchester in having the ability to host the biggest names in entertainment. That said I am very pleased the MTV awards are coming doubt I will get a ticket but this is a massive coup.
